The Oregon Growth Board (OGB) invests out of two pools of capital—the Oregon Growth Fund and the Oregon Growth Account.
Within the Oregon Growth Account, investments are made in:
- Institutional investment vehicles—Track record of investing with the same team and thesis, institutional practices, and record of success. These investments may include capital based outside the state of Oregon that Oregon businesses otherwise would not have access to.
Contact the Oregon Growth Board Director for more information. - Pre-institutional investment vehicles—Generally shorter track record of investing with the same team and thesis, improving practices, and often too early to tell on ROI. These invesments are almost always based in Oregon.

Within the Oregon Growth Fund, investments are made with the purpose of growing the capital ecosystem in Oregon to promote economic development. Investments in this category tend to be first-time funds, smaller, and less institutional than the investments made from the Growth Account.
