Public Comment Period

Business Oregon is seeking public comments on the Proposed Amended 2017 Method of Distribution for the Community Development Block Grant program which is funded by U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The proposed amended 2017 Method of Distribution addresses the use of CDBG funds for the program year January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017, and is available on the CDBG program page.

All Oregon residents are invited to submit written or verbal comments during a 30-day public comment period, May 15 through June 13, 2017, closing at 5:00 pm June 13. Written comments may be emailed to Becky Baxter or mailed to Becky Baxter, CDBG Program and Policy Coordinator, Business Oregon, 775 Summer St NE, Suite 200, Salem, OR 97301.

Oregon Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Finance Workshop

City and district elected officials, public works staff, operators, engineers, agency staff, organizations involved with water and wastewater programs and projects in Oregon are invited to come to network, connect, and learn.

The workshop will cover water and wastewater funding programs, Oregon's One Stop funding process, and resources for assistance with training on project development and finance, sustainable utility management, asset management, rates, and gaining support to move your infrastructure project forward.
