Resources for Redeveloping Brownfields

Join us in Coos Bay for an amazing opportunity to learn from the experts on how to identify, rehabilitate and redevelop brownfields. This workshop is designed for local governments, nonprofits, the private sector businesses and property owners with an interest in learning the nuts-and-bolts of redeveloping environmentally challenged properties. Recycling abandoned and underused properties requires special knowledge and skills, but can bring a variety of benefits to engaged communities.

This practical and interactive workshop will include local presenters as well as seasoned brownfield practitioners, and will provide information about tools, techniques and funding resources, as well as some recent examples of redeveloped projects. There also will be time for questions and interactive discussion.

Water Sector Public-Private Partnerships

A two-day Executive Education program will be piloted to current public-sector leaders, managers and administrators. This program is dedicated to innovation in infrastructure delivery and designed for those responsible for drinking water supply and treatment, wastewater and storm water infrastructure. Attendees will learn about evaluation and implementation of Public-Private Partnerships to ensure the greatest value-for-money for their jurisdictions' and utilities' ratepayers.
