Global Logistics Firm Grows By Leaps and Bounds in its Portland Home
UTi Worldwide grew from 14 employees to more than 230 in just 18 months thanks in part to a $250,000 loan from Business Oregon.
The councils mission is to improve the development, growth and vitality of Oregons small businesses and meets at least four times each year to discuss ideas, barriers and state policies. The council advises the Governor on small business promotional opportunities; recommends improvements in state-funded programs; identifies state laws, programs and policies that may need change; and works on special projects assigned by the Governor.
