Business Oregon provided a $248,000 grant through the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute for Trillium FiberFuels to develop a process to improve the efficiency of creating fuel grade ethanol from biomass. This approach helped Trillium win a $750,000 Department of Energy grant to commercialize the process.
